After Receiving the IL, do i have to CONFIRM it?

Hello Everyone

thank you for your usual support.

NVC sent me the IL and my interview is on August 17/2015.

Do i have to confirm it by email or there is no need to do that?

Do i have to do the finger print before the interview, if yes, how can i do that?

Please i need your support.

I dont know about other countries but here in india we have to register and follow process at

My interview is in Saudi Arabia, they already booked me an interview without asking me.

i dont know what to do now.

Do you have to specify your own interview, or do they send you the schedule by themselves?

i received on July 11/2015 which is two weeks ago.

it states that my interview will be in riyadh Saudi arabia at 12:30 on August 17/2015

I see some people from Philippine go to take their finger prints before the interview.

The IL i received didnt mention anything like that and i am confused.

Certain countries have specific requirements. I think the best thing for you to do is call the NVC and see if there are any specific requirements for Saudi. Generally upon receiving the IL, next step is medicals and then fingerprinting is usually done at the time of the interview. Just to be safe call the NVC and ask them what all needs to be completed.

You need to create account on http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit/documents-to-submit-to-nvc.html Once you fill all info, it will take you to biometrics info and scheduling. You will need passport, ds 260 confirmation page to bring with you. You do not confirm interview and they do not ask you for opinion either. You must schedule medical by calling hospital atleast 2 weeks.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/01/2015 - I-130 Approved

04/21/2015 - NVC received Case

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

05/02/2015 - Case under CSPA review

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

Just to correct. For Philippines, the biometrics is done same day as the interview.
