When my fiance flys into the US, what kind of questions will Port Authority ask her?

I heard the Port Authority can be tough. What can be expected?

Thanks!

I think it really depends on the immigration officer that you get.... My fiance entered and all he was asked is:

1. Why he's coming to the US

2. Who he's here to see

3. Reminder that he has 90 days to marry

And then they stapled in the I-94 and it was all over. This is for Chicago POE.

Elena came through JFK and she said it was very easy. (They even gave her directions in Russian!)

She said they were having a bet about what country she was from and the one guy told the other one "see dude, I told you she was Russian." (He thought she was Norwegian or Swedish.... bottle-blonde, go figure.)

I think the only thing they actually asked her was where she was headed, what she was going to do here, things like that. Just small talk more than anything.

Tatiana and I entered together at JFK. It was a breeze. The computer didn't work properly to take her picture at passport control, and the three of us (Tanya, me, and the passport inspection guy) were chuckling at it. We went to another room, sat around on a bench while they messed around with her envelope, and they sent us on our way, reminding us we needed to get married within 90 days or she needed to go home.

If at all possible, I think it is better for the petitioner to enter with the beneficiary, if for no other reason than the trip over the pond can be long and lonely.
