Hello everyone,

I just passed my interview and got my visa.

Planning to travel on 10th of August.

When I go to Usa I have to get back after 2 weeks (25th) to my country and wrap some imediate bussines there.

Can I get my physical green card and my ssn until then that quickly?

If not,can I travel back without physical green card(just visa) and come back later in usa to recieve it?

Or,Can in that time some relative in Usa pick my card in my absence ?

Also I have to change my mailing address in Usa, should I do it now (online) or in the point of entry?

Thank you in advance folks,

appreciate your help

cheers

You won;t get your physical greencrd that quickly, but that is ok- when you enter the USA for the first tome, they will stamp the visa page on your passport, and that will act as a temp greencard until you get the real one, which can take up to three months.

If you can change the address online now, do it, but the PoE can do that for you too.

Hi. This may be a stupid question I want to make sure. The green card is granted to us after we arrive in the US, right? We don't get it in the time of the interview with the Visa issuing, correct?

Thanks.

When is the best time to print a letter from the bank with the account? I have my interview on 25 August. Must it be one day before the interview?

Correct. At the interview, if successful, you get an immigrant visa. If you use that immigrant visa before it expires, you then become a permanent resident and get issued a green card.

Bank statement - there are no hard and fast rules, quite recent by time of interview is good. Few days or a couple of weeks are probably all fine.
