I have few questions. Okie our consultant sent out documents both aos package and ds260 to NVC like two weeks ago but NVC didn't received any thing and we called and asked them about it several times so today my wife went to consultant and took all the copies of the documents he had and sent them in to NVC but she didn't had time to compare it with checklist of both packages and she also didn't kept it's copies with her self she sent the copies which consultant was keeping for her as record. According to consultant he said the documents have everything except the citizenship papers of her grandparents who are sponsoring me and also he said the documents he has sent will now surely has arrived to NVC so we don't need to send again which we did coz he wasted so much time already my question was

Let's say as what if NVC somehow received the documents sent by out consultant today and also the documents sent by us on Monday will it create any confusion on part of NVC or not

Secondly he said his documents which he sent to NVC had their citizenship papers but the copies we have sent their were no citizenship paper will it cause any further delays or nvc will process as it is

thirdly we didn't kept the copies of the papers which we have sent to NVC and sent these will it be a problem?

Thanks

We sent our documents recently and within a week we got the document acceptance email from NVC so I think the consultant didn't send your documents. You could have asked for mail tracking number from him to see if he really sent or not.

Lets say he didn't send the papers and NVC receives yours then you will still get a checklist for not providing the proof of citizenship of co-sponsor which will delay the process.

I think your wife could've a shown a little bit more patience while your consultant should've taken the responsibility.

Yeah you are right I personally email our consultant and asked him about the courier receipt but he was making lame excuse that oh i sent it with ten other clients so i dont know whose tacking id is whose but he kept saying that your document must have reached and NVC will update the status on monday so you guys should wait but he already has wasted so much time so we didnt wanted to wait more so he asked us to pick up our copies and send it in ourselves which we did and regarding checklist we have received one checklist from NVC already the stupid lawyer mentioned the taxable income wrong on the tax form so now we cant afford to have another checklist as its almost a year in August that our case is going on so any suggestions
