Can you please provide email? My fiances interview was yesterday. They kept her passport, told her " we will give you a call " no specific dates or anything. How long does it take? Also, can I email them to find out? The wait is painful.

Hey vahe ... good news... she most likely will get her visa in passport soon. Hang in there. You can email ivyerevan@state.gov. They should get back to your email within a couple days. As far as the passport goes, wait and they should call her and tell her to go pick in up in no time. My fiances took a little longer (a month ) since the xmas and new years vacation fell in between. Keep us updated on your progress and keep strong!

Thank you so much! The wait is excruciating. I will indeed keep posted. Hopefully it's within the next few days. I'm feeling tomorrowish. I will update.

3 days and still no call :(

It's ok.... maybe they will call Friday for monday pick up like they did for us. Hang in there, it's a matter or no time. Have you emailed them? Just ask them for an update. Check the case status with Ceac.state.gov webpage!

Is it normal for me to email them? That wouldn't hold or push anything further right?

Its perfectly ok to email them for a quick status update as to what is going on with the visa. In my opinion wait a little more and if by next week you don't hear anything, email them and ask. It's a matter or no time. If the status changes on the Ceac.state.gov site then you know they are working on it.

So I just check and there was an update. From Janurary 26, my fiances interview day, the update changed to February 1st for the updated day. I'm assuming they have proceeded with our case, however its still im the " ready " process.

That means they are working on it. They will call no later than a few days if not by Friday or next Monday at the most for her to pick up! Next update should say issued, and that's when they will call. It's moving in a great direction. Keep us posted!

Good news for us, my fiancé is flying in on February 18th.Super excited and happy!

Congradulations! Well we got another update. The status update changed from Feb 1st, to feb 3rd. Not sure what to make of this. But the status is still the same " ready ". Were waiting day by day for the magical call from them.

any news Vahe??? did she get her passport ???

No brother not yet :( we are still waiting. We were hoping today, but nothing yet. Last update was on the 3rd :(

if they dont call you today write an email. ask them for an update!!! get on top of it. They have her passport

Ok so this is my first time using this website and I needed some help.... my husbands case has been completed in December and we have been waiting for an interview date from the embassy. His case has been at the NVC for 3 months now and still no interview date. Does anyone know how much longer it will take??? any one have any information for me? Thank you!!!!
