N-400 August 2015 Filers

Well well well....what's new More drama.My earlier interview scheduled for November 13th was cancelled and was to be rescheduled. I was re-scheduled for an interview on April 11th and I was supposed to get a letter from them. Now yesterday, i receive a letter saying that "due to unforeseen circumstances, we have cancelled the previously scheduled interview for November 13, 2015" Really? I am just now receiving this notice that I should have received in November. How crazy is this? Instead of my interview letter, I received this notice. Trust them folks to mess with your head. Anyway, I will continue waiting for the letter to show up. If it takes more than a couple of weeks I will call them.

Update:

we sent a letter to Congresswoman and Senator Barbara Boxer to follow up on our case. Office of Congresswoman Karen Bass was very prompt and they contacted us immediately and submitted our request within few days. There is no surprise that USCIS gave them the same answer they gave us previously : "Our records show that your N400 is currently pending adjudication. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date at this time. We apologize for the delay."

I also filled out the form in department of Homeland security.

Well..the drama continues. I arrived today for the interview which was supposed to be at 6.30am. As I waited, a gentleman who was pretty nice called my name. He told me we were not going to be able to do it today and said my file was stuck downstairs. I do not know what stuck means but anyway, he proceeded to give me anew date of June 8th. So, three more weeks. I am not sure how many of these tosses and turns I can take before I go bonkers.

Well..the drama continues. I arrived today for the interview which was supposed to be at 6.30am. As I waited, a gentleman who was pretty nice called my name. He told me we were not going to be able to do it today and said my file was stuck downstairs. I do not know what stuck means but anyway, he proceeded to give me anew date of June 8th. So, three more weeks. I am not sure how many of these tosses and turns I can take before I go bonkers.

Help me understand this so they first gave you an interview date 11/13 last year, then re-scheduled it for 4/11, then to 5/17, and now to 6/8?? Is that really the 4th time they scheduled an interview for you.

Have you asked to speak with the field office director what the heck is happening??? I were you I'd immediately get my congressperson involved and make sure they have your file ready for 6/8 interview with no excuse.

It was first scheduled for 11/13. On 04/11 the status changed online and I was re-scheduled for 5/17. Now today it was rescheduled to June 8th while I was there.
