I'm finally off the waiting list and have an oath ceremony scheduled! The timing is a bit bad since I'm going on a week long trip next weekend. Following the thread it looks like most people are getting appointments for ~10 days out (which would be in the middle of my trip), anybody have a longer period out from getting the oath letter? I know I'll find out in a few days in the mail but I'm super nervous now. I want to avoid taking a red eye to and fro for just the oath ceremony.

To all N-400 filers, my wife had her interview today and was given an RFE for proof of marriage. My assumptions fall in line with "fabadu" We thought we provided all proof of marriage when we applied for the ROC. Unfortunately, we were wrong. My wife informed the officer we can provide proof of insurance, as I was waiting in the waiting room, but didn't concern him. My wife said the test was easier than taking her driving test. She past the written and verbal portion and just need to provide the RFE.

If you are scheduled for your interview, make sure to bring additional copies of spousal relationship. I'm only guessing this, as we applied for the 3 year period of being married to a U.S. citizen, The most frustrating part was they were having the Oath Ceremony today. C'est la vie!

Sorry to hear that Pocho. The good thing is that the journey shouldn't take much longer once you've responded to the RFE.

FYI, in our response we tried to stick to what the IO asked for:

- Joint bank account statements

- Credit card statements

- Utility bills

- 2012 to 2014 Tax return transcripts which you can order for free by phone (8009089946). It took 5 days to come in the mail.

- Apartment Lease Agreement

- Health Insurance documents showing we were covered under the same plan
