N-400 August 2015 Filers

Today was my oath ceremony and I am now a US Citizen!

Wonderful to be completed with our friends at the USCIS! What a Journey Indeed

I was also able to apply for my passport across from the Federal Court House.

They only scanned the Naturalization Certificate (US Post office requires mailing it in)so I am able to keep, and they will process it within a week and i was informed that it should be in my hands via priority mail in one more week!

Thanks everyone again, and if some one could color me red, I would appreciate it!

Well, I was looking forward to my interview tomorrow but I just received a call from an immigration officer at the field office who said that NBC has not shipped my file back and that there will be no interview. They said I will receive a new interview letter in about 30 days. Bummer!

Ouch! But at least there is movement on your application. Some of us are in the slow lane.

Hello everyone,

I received a msg from USCIS on OCT 2, 2015 saying that my case is inline for interview scheduling. I have not received any updates since then, can anyone advise as to how long it might take for the status to change from inline for interview scheduling to "interview scheduled" date ? I live in Ventura County, CA so I guess my file should be processed in San Fernando Valley Office, CA.
