I was put in line a week after you in Boston. I've been keeping an eye on you're timeline thinking that when you get your interview date I should get mine a week later. So I hope it happens for you soon!

I was in line for approx. 45 days. Maybe check to see how long other filiers from your field office had to wait and see if it's on par. I checked someone that filed in June and 45-46 days seems to be the magic number in Vegas.

My situation seems to be a bit peculiar, I think. I reside in Berkshire County, which makes my local field office the one located in Lawrence, MA– not the Boston Office per se (and I say per se because I don't know if and to what extent the Lawrence Office functions as a branch of the Boston Office (<http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices/massachusetts>).This adds a layer of discomfort because there seems to be very little information out in the internet on the Lawrence Office, not even in the USCIS website itself, specifically with regards to processing times.

At any rate, I hope to get the letter either this week or the next one. Fingers are crossed.

Thanks so much for the reply! I have tired to do what you suggest, but as I explained to S. above, there really isn't much information on my field office. I will wait 45 or so days to get in contact with USCIS. Fingers are crossed!

I'm in Essex County. I'm supposed to go to the Lawrence field office too. It looks like they are slower than Boston. They also only do 10 oath ceremonies a year compared to 37 in Boston. They do biometrics in Lawrence but I was still sent to Boston for mine. I don't understand the way the USCIS does things and I don't get why Lawrence isn't an option on the drop down menu for processing times. Let's hope they aren't too far behind.

I unfortunately don't have an answer for you KBS1983 but I'm in the same boat (got married in May) and have changed my name in the marriage certificate but have not actually made the changes through social security, banks, etc. since I was also adding a middle name through the naturalization process. I think given how tedious the process is, it's easier to wait until the whole thing is over and use the naturalization as proof of your name change.
