Case status changed. This is moving a little faster than I thought, so I guess it's study time. Interview Was Scheduled

On September 10, 2015, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC*00610XXXX. We will mail you an interview notice. Congrats Cutiepie28. Best of luck. Overall it seems as if the August group is moving a little slower than the June and July group did. However, many of us have time before our 90 days come up, so not super anxious. Just a little worried that I did the fingerprints a week ago and it hasn't move to the line yet. Guess I just need more patience. :)Best of luck to one and all.

Thank you! My field office is Kansas City, Mo where I had my AOS interview. I did fingerprints in Forth Smith, AR maybe because it's a little closer. Hopefully I will get my interview letter soon so I will know the date.

Olga has been reviewing the study materials for a while. She is doing well because a lot of the civics material was covered in our son's Social Studies homework last year. Yesterday, she confidently asked me to test her again on the material. About half way through the 100 questions, I asked, "What was the name of George Washington's horse?" The look on her face was priceless! :rofl:

I was reviewing the questions/answers too but, like KASH2011, as one of those that applied ASAP in regards to my green card date I suspect I'll be one of the last to get an interview (or even be "in line"). End of this month or so. Perhaps I'll take a break from studying until nearer the time.

Olga has been reviewing the study materials for a while. She is doing well because a lot of the civics material was covered in our son's Social Studies homework last year. Yesterday, she confidently asked me to test her again on the material. About half way through the 100 questions, I asked, "What was the name of George Washington's horse?" The look on her face was priceless!

That's hilarious, I'm curious what is the answer to that. LOL! I put to use the audio CD that is included in the study material they gave during biometrics, I played it on my computer while at home on my days off and listen to it and answer the questions while I'm doing dishes, cooking, cleaning the house, doing laundry. I'll just let it played over and over until I'm done with household chores. Same thing on my way to work, instead of turning on the radio (which I rarely do) I just listen to the CD. Some other times I tell my son (a senior) and my daughter (8th grader) to review with me. So hopefully by the time of my interview my mind will be fully charged by then.

Looks like you will probably receive you bio appointment by this day next week!

Last year, I wrote a shell script that downloaded the 100 audio files from the USCIS web site. (That probably set off some alarm bells...) Olga put the files on her phone and Kindle. She reviews the files whenever it is convenient. We use the .pdf from the USCIS web site for doing the reviews. Olga opted for the low stress option - prepare early and often to avoid unnecessary stress later.
