Hi Everyone,

Good luck on your immigration journeys. I've been on VJ for awhile and anyways, I was wondering,

"Where can I find a photo or an image for my VJ member profile?"

Any website recommendations (for jpg. files), suggestions (how to resize photos), or ideas (what images/photos I should use), are helpful. Thanks.

Good luck on your immigration journey. Thanks for your reply and for those lovely "ant" images. Ahh..now I see that they are called "avatars", and I can search for them on google. Lol...At times like this, I feel so clueless about computers. Still, it's fun to learn something every day! Today's lesson=avatars. Thanks. And yes, I'll use an "ant" image, or something like that for my avatar!

Cool, you picked my favorite!

You might want to put a small picture of yourselves in your profile picture.. hunt around in the 'my controls' section and you will find lots of things to customize.

Speak up again if you need help in resizing pictures that you find.

Hi Meauxna,

Lol...since your immigration journey is done...ummm..pass the "Good luck on your immigration journey" message on to others. I guess it's something I've got used to typing on the message boards, kind of like a "How are you" type of a thing.

Likewise, I liked the same picture you did too. Thanks for the new "ant" image that I am now using as my avatar. The black and white makes for a nice contrast in colour too. As for a small picture, well, the only pictures that I have are taken with my digital camera that I uploaded on my computer. They are about 500+KB and I don't know how to resize them to fit the 16KB limit under "my controls". Any suggestions there as to how to resize them (lol..again, I feel so computer-challenged)? Thanks.
