Hi Guys,

Thank you once again for all the support as usual.

Now that my fiance is approved , he wants me to find out what POE to the U.S still gives Temp EAD.

If any of the newly approved fiances can give some insight, i will greatly appreciate it.

I heard people say JFK and HOUSTON do give temp EAD's. I think there are many J.F.K;s aiports if i am not mistaken mentioned on VJ. I just wanted to be sure

He is trying to book his flight.ASAP.

Sorry I don't know much about K1 or EAD for that matter. Yet I heard POE's giving out temp EAD was a myth. I'm sure someone else knows better.

I agree that I have only heard of JFK, and only if you ask for it, and only then sometimes. If they say that they have marked it, you might make sure and have them show you (politely of course :P ) because there have been times that people have been told that they have it and in fact they don't.

Met on internet 6/04. Married at court house in Aba, Nigeria 12/04. 3/05 traditional ceremony in Nigeria w/ my picture. 12/05 finally together again. 4/06 ceremony/celebration in the states together

Yes JFK is the only poe that give temp work permits, and i belive they are still giving them. I am in the same situation my I am going to fly my fiance through JFK in order to get the temp stamp.

10/25/2005 - I-129F packet mailed to TSC

11/03/2005 - NOA 1 from CSC

11/07/2005 - Check cashed

02/03/2006 - NOA2 by e-mail

05/03/2006 - Leave for Jamaica

05/09/2006 - Interview "VISA APPROVED"

05/15/2006 - Return from Jamaica

05/22/2006 - Called off the wedding and Adrian left

Re got his temp EAD at JFK without asking for it - in Dec.

12-01-05 - Picked up visa!!

AOS:

12-25-05 - Flight lands at JFK - EAD stamp

05-15-06 - Green card received!! Woo-hoo!!!

05-09-07 - Our first son born!
