Roof murdered 9 people. I'm pretty sure that's about as lawless as you can get and the cops treated him with more concern than a woman who didn't put out a cigarette.

Scott Malkowski and 10 other members of his special ops team had been searching an abandoned air strip and resort in Tannersville, Pa.

It was an assigned grid and he spotted Frein by chance.

"He turned towards me. I identified myself as law enforcement. I told him to get on the ground. He pronged out, he was about five feet away. I said, 'Who are you? What's your name?' He said 'Eric Frein,'" said Malkowski.

I thought you had all that security training Marvin ....You get the various elements of a crime all mixed up .He did

flee the crime scene That was before the police had the opportunity to arrest him. He resisted capture by fleeing but when captured did not resist being arrested. .

sorry, I'm late to the picnic. Back at post #1, the one thing I kept repeating to myself when watching the police cam video -

was

OMG - A Chicago Black Woman attitude doesn't cut it with the cops around Prarie View A&M - no way and no how.

Then later today I learned that her family wasn't picking up the phone when she called from the jail as she had other incidents over the last 18 months and they did not want anything to do with her (hence the move to Texas).

I feel bad she's dead, but that toxicology report is very revealing, aye?

In the end, I hope video monitors are installed in each jail cell, soonish. I think, with an active video monitoring going on, this could have been prevented right at the stage where she tied the knot.
