Administrative Processing in Cairo

Does anyone know what’s really involved in the Administrative Processing in Cairo? I thought originally it was just the DOS clearances, but now after that’s been approved we are still waiting.

I sent an email to the embassy, asking if they received our papers from the DOS and what the next step is and I received a canned email that said that they are not done with the administrative processing and my husband will be notified when they are done.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

It still takes time after the completion of the security checks for the file to be worked on in the consulate. I am sure you have read the experiences of others in the Cairo Club. That would be your best gague so far.
