I-130 no response from Embassy

I submitted my petition I-130 (DCF), in El Salvador at the US Embassy on June 15th, on June 29th I went back again to the embassy to correct my form (I was called, but just to add some missing info) On July 15th I went again to the embassy because I made a mistake in my home address.(I brought a letter, and they received it)



Explaining all this that I have 2 questions.



1.It has been more than a month and I have not received a response back from USCIS.


2.Could have been possible that they sent a letter to the wrong address (if sent, the address was not right so the mail guy would not be able to find it) with an update on my case. What should I do?


(I have put this question in the DCF section but I did not get a response from anyone)

as a us citizen, you can get into the US Embassy there during american citizen services hours (posted duration or by appointment) and ask the Vice-Consul to learn more about the status with the USCIS office.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I actually asked when I went the last time, all I got was that they have I dont remember if 2 or 3 months to give you a response, how accurate is that?
