List of doctors for visa medical

Hi everyone,

I noticed in the past few months a few people asking about the visa medical and what doctors you can go to. Just in case anyone else is searching for that info, here is the list of approved physicians - these are the ONLY doctors that are approved to do the medical for the visa:

I've recently received my NOA2 and I'm curious if you chose an interview date for late September or if that was the first available date given to you? I'm just trying to get an idea of timeframes.

mine is 29th of september also , was hoping for august but ah well at least an end date is in sight

I got 29th September as well. Wonder why we have to wait over 2 months?

Also, I remember there being another doctor you could go to, I think it was Medibank something? Is this one no longer approved. The list only shows that George Street medical centre

29th Sept was the date given to me. Wish it was sooner!

The medibank in Sydney was listed up until very recently; no idea why they took it down!

Yeah I emailed them asking why it was such a long wait and they replied saying that 29th September was the earliest possible available date

That's sooo frustrating- I'm still waiting at the NVC stage- should be moving to the next stage very soon- but I'm annoyed there is such a delay in getting to the finish line!!!!

Hey just an update on this list (it seems to be constantly changing): I called Medibank in Victoria for an appointment and they informed me they were no longer handling visa medicals. They said BUPA is now doing it - called BUPA and they said they only do Canadian Visas!

Ah never mind above post - the person I spoke to at Medibank gave me the wrong info! It's still Medibank that provide the tests.

How long does it take for them to send medical results to the consulate?

I think it was about a week for them to send it to consulate? They called me a few days after the interview to let me know they were sending it, and gave me a tracking number so I could make sure it got there. I had a really good experience with Medibank in Melbourne - the doctor and receptionists there were all very helpful and nice.
