Hello everyone,

I will be marring my fiancé in Japan where she lives but it looks like I will have to file the I-130 in Texas now that DCF is gone.

Does anyone know if Texas is fast or slow with their I-130 reviews?

many emails and Skype sessions

November 2006 Met in the US

Many emails and Skype sessions

April 16th 2007 Married in Japan

June 11th 2007 USCIS posted case Online

June 12th 2007 Check Cashed

June Received NOA-1 dated June 29th 2007

June to September Wife visits me in the US (3 month visit)

October 17th 2007 Touched

October 17th Approved

October 29th NVC Received documents from USICS

October 31st NVC assigns Case number

November 5th 3032 and AOS bill sent out

November 22nd Wife receives 3032 in Japan

November 24th Wife mails 3032 back to NVC

November 26th I receive AOS bill and send it back to NVC (same day)

November 28th 3032 entered into NVC system

November 30th AOS bill entered into the system

December 3rd IV Bill Generated

December 11th Received I-864 packet

December 12th sent I-864 to NVC

December 14th Received the IV bill

December 14th Completed Medical Exam

December 15th Sent back IV bill

December 20th IV Bill input into the NVC system

December 26th DS-230 mailed

January 28th CASE COMPLETE!!!

February 08th Case at Embassy

March 04th Police Certificate

March 31st INTERVIEW!!!!

April 20th Date of Entery !!!

Welcome to visa journey! In the blue bar near the top of the page, click on Immigration timelines. Then click on "IR-1 CR-1 historical trends" to see charts that show how long it takes to get an I-130 petition approved at each service center. Texas is "TSC."

9-12/2004 - met and fell in love in Bulgaria

2004 - 2006 - travel, travel, travel...

11/2006 - moved to Bulgaria

1/2007 - engaged

4/2007 - wedding

DCF for CR-1 Visa BEGINS:

5/16/2007 - I-130 filed at Sofia, Bulgaria embassy

Actually TSC does not process I-130's anymore. All their spouses petitions are being transferred to CSC and it varies from 2-4 months and some may take longer.

10/30/06 - Married to my loving husband

01/06/07 - NOA1 ($190)

05/16/07 - NOA2!!!!!

NVC: CR-1 Process

05/21/07 - NVC recv'd case (per rep @ NVC)

05/29/07 - NVC Assigned Case # (KNG2007******)

06/01/07 - Faxed change of address request to NVC

06/08/07 - NVC confirmed new address

06/18/07 - DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) & AOS (I-864) Fee Bill generated

06/23/07 - Recv'd DS-3032 & AOS Bill via snail mail

07/09/07 - Emailed DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) to NVC

07/19/07 - Mailed AOS Fee Bill ($70) to St. Louis, MO

07/19/07 - Recv'd email from NVC - Choice of Agent was accepted

07/23/07 - IV (DS-230) Fee Bill was generated

08/11/07 - Recv'd IV Fee Bill via snail mail

08/15/07 - Recv'd AOS Packet in the mail
