Is this my Packet 4?

I have tried the google search but can't find anything...

I sent the documents required by packet 3 to Montreal a week ago because I didn't bother waiting to receive the actual letter in the mail, and after a week of nothing I emailed Montreal yesterday and they told me that they had sent out packet 3 to me yesterday and that I can also find packet 3 online (nothing about receiving my first email). Today I resent my packet 3 email and they sent me this:

I got packet 4 today by email today too, and when I went to see what the earliest interview for me was it said October 6th(Vancouver) earliest for Montreal was September 1st!

I saw that too - I booked my interview on Friday Sept. 4th so I could spend some time in MTL over the weekend. Vancouver is lagging a little Maybe an earlier date will pop up? That's funny though, our NOA1 dates are the same, as are our Packet 4s! If we were at the same consulate we could've been lined up outside the consulate together

At the moment I have not booked it... I am hoping an earlier date does pop up, however it makes it difficult that Vancouver only processes K1's on Tuesdays. My lease is up at the end of September so I hope something else comes up soon before the end of the month when I need to either re-sign or commit to not renewing it.

I think it would be awesome to end up at the consulate on the same day as someone else from here! Most of the other Canadians are Montreal though.

Can you not book it and just reschedule should another date pop up? I have scheduled mine and there is an option to reschedule to another date if I want to - I wouldn't want you to have to wait any longer than Oct. 6th. Not sure if Montreal and Vancouver are different like that.

I'm not sure, actually. I am probably just going to book it and hope something sooner comes up, worse case scenario Alex can come up to Vancouver with me and we can spend my birthday (October 7th) together there. I'll wait until monday to figure it out. I'm mostly concerned about the lease thing... Couch surf for the last month here?
