I hope that Ngan can be ok with the cold weather. I cannot sit with this kind of weather, I have to move and try to find something to do in the house, otherwise I will be frozen. The first time I see the ice rain. I have never been in this such cold weather.

Now, I'm surprised why people can live in this weather and can save money for their life. In Saigon, the weather is very good and we don't need such energy for warming body and drying the clothes. We have so many kinds of fruits but in here I have no choice.

Yes it is very different I think it takes time to adjust. But I would like to tell you that most of the VN like the weather here ( at least the ones I have met ). As for me - well I like warm weather, but I have ties & employment here. And very hopefully a new bride soon Congrat to both of you on coming back to Seattle with vo !

Really? Ngan loves the weather here, much better than the undying heat of south Viet Nam. It was really starting to heat up there when we left. We haven't been to a store yet, we're hoping for some green mango's.

Well, look on the bright side. California is very near to you. Which is abundant in nice weather, Vietnamese communities and most importantly, fruit.

Have your hubby take you down there for a trip or convince him to move there hehe. Enjoy your lives.

I didnot complain about the weather but I only feel surprised that people here can survive with this kind of weather, it's not easy. However. I'm Happy to be here with David, that's our wish for more than one year. It's the most important thing to me.

Just feel lucky that you're not in the mid-west....I really cant see how people can survive in Chicago, or anywhere thats in the negatives during the winter. Ngan and I were lucky that we only had to wait 7 months and 6 of those I spent with her in Viet Nam, we we were spoiled and very lucky.

I'm not sure how my wife will react to living in the DFW, Texas area.

Weather here ranges from both extremes of hot & cold, wet & dry. You get a little bit of everything at almost any given moment.

I personally like the variety.

Patricks, I'm in Tacoma now, not Seattle. I was intending to fly at the end of Feb, but I have no choice as I cannot book the flight ticket until the end of Mar. So, I flew early.
