Exactly... and it continues (in K-1'ers case anyway), all the way through the AOS to the interview, and beyond. The truth is it's a huge ordeal packing up, leaving your country, being separated from your husband/fiance, and starting all over again. I think sometimes we forget how disruptive it is, just cause of our geographical and cultural closeness (in ways). If we had come from overseas, we'd give ourselves more grace, and I think you are right on the money. I've thought many times that I was going out of my mind, just yesterday I couldn't get out of bed ( I believe it was just overcome with the stress of paperwork, the exhaustion of having to do it, and a few other "unsetttling" issues we've had in locating a good church family). All of those things are not "little" things, and they take their toil on one's health.

[How much did you have to pay for a second copy?

Actually, I found online forms for the things that Canadian doctors have to fill out. Now ours that we get look different but the same information is filled out. In addition, I received a copy of the lab results for my chest x-ray and the two blood tests (HIV and syphilis).

i bet there is probably alot of people who are going thru the immigration process that are depressed, they shouldnt be surprised after what they make us go thru

Didn't you know? The government is in bed with the drug companies and gets a kickback for every intending immigrant who succumbs to depression. They also get a piece of the action for us parnoids taking Lithium.
