I just have a couple of questions on the AOS guide, as it stands right now, and whether I'm missing something or whether it's outdated:

Couple of notes I have having just completed the AOS submission (Sending out today):

Point 8. - States "certified copy of marraige certificate" - As I understand it a copy is more than fine, you bring the certified copy to the interview and that is sufficient.

Point 9. - Copies of Petitioner's and intending divorce documents - I can't find anywhere in the I 845 paperwork that states I have to submit both divorce certificates. Am I crazy? From what I can surmise - the elligbility of both of us to be wed was dealt with by the State when we swore we were free to marry, so why would we need to submit again the documentation of the termination of our previous marraiges? Is this just for "good measure" and not really a requirement?

In the "Overall Cover Page"- I'd like to suggest that the letter includes the alien's A# adn SSN # if available. Just to be sure that the letter stays with the package.

That's my thoughts. Please correct me if I'm wrong! ;)

AOS:

2007-02-22: Sent AOS /EAD

2007-03-06 : NOA1 AOS /EAD

2007-03-28: Transferred to CSC

2007-05-17: EAD Card Production Ordered

2007-05-21: I485 Approved

2007-05-24: EAD Card Received

2007-06-01: Green Card Received!!

Removal of Conditions:

2009-02-27: Sent I-751

2009-03-07: NOA I-751

2009-03-31: Biometrics Appt. Hartford

2009-07-21: Touched (first time since biometrics) Perhaps address change?

2009-07-28: Approved at VSC

2009-08-25: Received card in the mail

Naturalization

2012-08-20: Submitted N-400

2013-01-18: Became Citizen
