My "endless" tirades? You must be kidding. I would say her endless stalking me had more to do with it. Well. JP gets one more fat chance to make me the bad guy (in her own mind). It's her loss (and delusion), not mine. I was feeling sad that she is gone, but now that feeling has passed. Thanks!

I do have to say it's been MUCH more peaceful here lately. I like it! :D

It's peaceful here because no one is around anymore.

I'm afraid that the MENA forum has taken a permanent turn for the worse. I think it's safe to say that many are following JP's lead.

And that's really too bad. Only a couple months ago, MENA was such a great place to come and get tons of info. Not so much info to be gotten when nobody's here.

People are free to come and go as they wish. There will always be new people, not so set in their ways and, hopefully, not so proprietory and narrowminded about who posts here and who shares their agenda as to not be able to handle change. Change is part of life, folks.

JP will be missed. I wish more people would take time to reflect on the role they played in this change on VJ rather than dismissing it quickly to look at teh actions and behavior of others.

ETA: but then I am am optimist and belileve in the good of people. Some here define selfishness.

I still find a lot of what goes on here a bit retarded which is why I stopped participating in a lot of it. I'd leave VJ altogether but I still have AOS to deal with, and I also remember what the whole visa experience was like at times for me. Sometimes confusing, sometimes joyful, sometimes overwhelming and sometimes downright painful. If I am able to lend any support whatsoever as one who has been through it now, I will, because I know how badly I needed it at times from someone who really understood what it was like to be in my shoes. As far as all the other rot and squabbling and pontificating and chest beating, and blah blah whatever, I really can say I'm sorry I ever got caught up in it. I'm sure I will be summarily pounced on now by the obvious individuals but I've learned how to not care. If anyone ever needs a shoulder, please leave me a message.

Happy Wednesday All!!! Spoke with the Spanish embassy yesterday and they said my Fiancee's visa was APPROVED and was mailed out with his passport yesterday. By the end of the week we should have the visa in hand (inshallah). I already spent all yesterday night cleaning out my closets to make room for him :dance::dance::dance:

Also congrats to brnidokiegurl!! Hopefully things will move quickly now. :dance:

I noticed JP stopped posting too. I don't know her that well, but I think she was one of the nicest people in this forum..she cared for other peoples feelings and she always did her best to help who ever..Its a shame to see her go... I'll miss her too.. :(
