Is that a receipt with a year extension on it ?

I sent mine (I-751) on Feb 5, received by TSC on Feb 7. Check cashed also on Feb 7.

I received a receipt for biometric fee $ 70.00 on Feb 12, but have not received any extension letter yet. Hopefully next week.

O.K It's now gone 30 days since TSC had recieved my I-751 and I haven't recieved a biometrics appointment.. When should I start to enquire about my appointment??

I noticed most other applicants on visajourney recieve their appointment a week or two after they file...

Phoned USCIS customer support number and explained the situation to the other person that it's been quite a while since I've filed my I-751 and I havent recieved my biometrics appintment... they said I would have to wait 6 months before I can enquire further into my case........

So if my biometrics letter happened to be lost somewhere and I unwittingly missed the appointment my case can be considered ambandoned and denied??

had the sent u the biometrics letter, wouldn't the useless USCIS line know about it? they have a canned answer for everything - wait six months.

call the uscis line and say 'i think my dog's gay' - response - 'wait six months' hahah. sorry, i believe my nyquil is starting to take affect. cold, sniffles :-(

Hi all,

I'll be tracking a lot of you it looks like, as I'm sure others will be, so this is a friendly reminder to post/update your timelines on the 'Immigration Timelines' section of VJ. I haven't visited this site in awhile till recently, and I'm really impressed with the addition of this feature (oops, that might tell how long it's been ).

Also, thanks to Captain Ewok & Yodrak, we can now filter by service center: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57853
