Walk with the angels

let them keep you safe

we'll join you one day

in that wonderful place

stand on the clouds and never forget

we're holding on to you

in our memories and thoughts

until one day we'll meet again

Truly missed but never forgotten:

During the USCIS days of waiting for my petition to be approved, I was calm. Didn't even know about the signing up to see the "touches". Although that was only a two month wait, which was awesome and much faster than I was even hoping for. Now that I'm at the Embassy stage, I've gone crazy! I'm not able to check the status on the computer, which is probably a good thing. I called the State Dept yesterday to see if they've made any progress seeing how they've had the packet 3 back in their offices since Feb 12 and I was so nervous! I was hoping they'd tell me we had an interview date, but instead he said that it hadn't even been entered into the system. Why are they not on the ball, don't they know someones sanity is on the line here? I'm not saying what you guys are going through isn't bad, we all want to be with our loved ones SOOO bad.. I just think it gets worse knowing you're so close, yet just so far away! I'm totally obsessed now. It's even affecting my homework (online classes) I'd so much rather be surfing the VJ website than studying, totally! Well, I have been studying everyone elses timelines, does that count? lol

Good luck everyone and stay strong, Lord knows its hard to though..

HHAAA - I thought you were talking about me then.. I was relatively calm during the NOA1 and NOA2 - now I've just lost the plot.. Its horrible when you call State Dept - and they say - yes, you're ready to be scheduled for an interview - but nothing has been entered yet :( 2 weeks now since I sent the final checklist and it feels more like 2 years..

A fellow VJ nut case!! :help::wacko:
