I purposely left my NOA1 at my office this weekend so I wouldn't register on the USCIS website. I know myself, and I know how obsessive-compulsive I can be.

I broke down today back at work and registered. Have spent all day hitting refresh like a demonic robot. Or a moronic robot, I'm not sure at this point.

Last Updated on Feb 14, right before I received NOA1. So all day, refresh, refresh, refresh. 2/14; 2/14, 2/14.

I just called up the link again (handily placed in my favorites, of course) and again, refresh. Updated 2/20/07!

I feel like I need an intervention, but obviously I won't find that here on VJ!

Update: now I hit refresh over and over and smile goofily at the screen.

Please help.

I can understand the obsession. Since you are at VSC, it is probably a good thing! Take deep breaths over and over...in and out...

We have not applied yet, so I refresh this forum 100 times a day (or is it a 1,000?) in the hopes that some new post will provide the secret that will eliminate all our problems and guarantee visa approval in 60 days. So far no luck with that, but I keep trying!

I know what you mean - but remember, there are no guarantees.

We were approved in 72 days and that was great...but from the NOA2 to the interview time flies.

 That's soo funny!

GabachaYucateca, you are REALLY lucky you are filing in Vermont. Probably you will only have 2 weeks of obsessive compulsive checking USCIS site. Imagine doing that for 113 days (mine) or for some others, much longer. After NOA2 I leisurally check USCIS only once a day. But I have been trying to call NVC all day, every day (usually they are busy grrr) and emailing them every day too. Last update talked to a rep an hour ago and my case isn't in the system yet. :crying:

Made myself put a bookmark of the receipt number lookup page... that way backtracking to the touch page would take a longer time. Anyway, they never really touched the file for a couple of months, so my forced step was well worth it. Pangs of manic refreshing only happened in short bursts every few days...

Try the half lotus position while you breathe...

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
