when will GC be mailed after the "New Card Is Being Produced" status?

Oh yeah, now I remember I got my conditional GC in the mailbox 2 years ago...Bad memory, lol...We have a locked mailbox so they would probably drop it here.

We're tracking the same path I see, just got the same text/e-mail, tracked it and said it would be delivered Saturday! Woo hoo! The first GC just showed up and nobody had to sign for it so I reckon it'll be the same with this one. Congrats to you too!

Hi, khwaidee1, interesting that I, too, just got the GC in hand. It was dropped at 3:30 pm in my mailbox!

Btw, what do you guys do the the expired conditional GC? should it be mailed somewhere back to local uscis? Should it be destroyed? Or what?

I guess you can keep it as a souvenir. They took my wife's at our interview and gave us a photocopy.

In 2007 My card was taken away from me by a USCIS officer at the time of interview when I had gone in to get "conditions removed" and at that time my card was NOT expired.

After the interview she told me she was going to keep the card and will not give it back to me!!! did not explain why.

My battle with the system has gone on for about 10years and finally in June of 2016 my case was approved by the USCIS JUDGE as well as the USCIS Officer I interviewed with. I had applied for a continuance on my case that was moved from So Cal to Texas. Both the judge and the officer agreed that my case should NOT have been so long drawn at all! Besides a case transfer I had also applied a new application presenting more evidence and such.

Just a few minutes ago I saw that my "new card is being produced" as my "new card was ordered today" and that it will be sent to my address on file .I am very eagerly waiting to receive it.

Missed a LOT in these last 10years could not travel as I was warned that if I did I may not be allowed back in. Needless to say it has been TOUGH but I can now see the light. Will be a nice b'day gift getting the card. :)
