...no...My interview was December 18, but they requested an additional sponsor so wasn't able to send that (and my passport) to them until January 7 due to Christmas travel.

It took a week to be received by them from Vancouver, but I'm hopeful it will be a little quicker coming back to me.

Best of luck to you!! Did you by any chance change your maiden name? I now carry my husband's last name but all my IDs list my maiden name. Only our marriage certificate carries my new name and the 1-130.

Best of luck to you!! Did you by any chance change your maiden name? I now carry my husband's last name but all my IDs list my maiden name. Only our marriage certificate carries my new name and the 1-130.

No, I kept my maiden name.

But they're used to people having a different name after marriage. I wouldn't worry about that.

Thank you very much for adding me, this gives me an idea of what to expect...I called Nvc today again lol... They are scheduling March interviews now, hoping I get on that list...

I called them. A very nice rep. Explained me to go to ceac.state.gov website and complete Ds261 and verified my email. I was told to pay fee too. But it was giving me an error message. I think I will have access tomorrow to pay it.

I am having the same issue. They told me to wait till monday for the AOS fees to be invoiced.

Is there a new instruction form for I-864, 3/2017 expire date. I am having problems filling out the new form....I use a Apple computer.

Married March 2015 overseas. I dont have a ITIIN numberfor spouse so i have to file seperate.

I file as Married filing separately.

USC abroad since 1982

Married Argentinian husband in 2010

1st Daughter born 2013 (no CRBA)

2nd Daughter born 2015 (no CRBA)

Visa process 2015

I-130 sent: July 14th (delivered July 17th by DHL)

Checks Cashed: July 22nd

NOA1 received: August 5th via mail - California Service Center

NOA2 received: August 18th via email

NVC Received Package: September 4th.

Got NVC Case Number over the Phone: September 21st.

Paid AoS Bill / Send DS261: September 21st.

Paid IV Bill: October 23rd.

Submitted DS-260: October 30th.

Sent AoS and IV Packages: November 10th.

Received Checklist: December 3rd.

New Scan Date: December 4th.

Case Complete: December 31 (they said the cases were completed since Dec. 17th but something was missing in one of them)

Medical Examination: February 2nd.

Interview Date: February 29th

From my understanding there is a cover page that needs to be put on each package, and you get that once paid both fees. Did you pay both fees? if you have those cover pages then it's safe to go ahead and send in the packages. Your scan date will be sooner versus waiting until the DS260 is submitted and reviewed.

I also recommend you joining the February NVC thread. you'll learn a lot of it.

Have you received your transferred notice letter yet from NSC? I got mine in mail yesterday. Mine was transferred to Potomac Service Center in Arlington Virginia.

have you received any additional information since the case has been transferred?

Mail them now if you have everything done. Don't wait....Once NVC gets your packets that is your scan date!
