I called them. A very nice rep. Explained me to go to ceac.state.gov website and complete Ds261 and verified my email. I was told to pay fee too. But it was giving me an error message. I think I will have access tomorrow to pay it.

I don't really know anything about scan dates because I was never able to view my status online. Until this day I keep getting a pop up saying the following

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask.

...no...My interview was December 18, but they requested an additional sponsor so wasn't able to send that (and my passport) to them until January 7 due to Christmas travel.

It took a week to be received by them from Vancouver, but I'm hopeful it will be a little quicker coming back to me.

No February scheduling has been done. March scheduling is starting. Didn't you get the letter from NVC when you sent in your AOS and IV package where they say "We received on XXXXXX". That's your scan date.

Each Embassy is different you can go to dwheels76 interview spread sheet and you see about how long it takes to get an interview.

I completed ds261 on 27th Jan and the links for payments are not available yet. Is it normal to take a week or so to have payments (Aos) link to show up? Also, I called nvc they reviewed my DS261.
