July 2015 I-130 Filers

According to what I've seen posted here on visa journey the average seems to be about 5 months (based on timelines here not the USCIS reported times). But I've also seen several recently processed in about 40 days! So there's always hope!

yeah you right according to uscis timeline period it is so hard to believe their processing time , it says January 16, 2014 (18 months behind) which is obviously tooooooo much time taking to approved but what i realize from the visa journey some petitioner they get their petition approved approximately b/n 5-8 months . so we have a lot of hope and please lets keep update our information by this pass so that we will catch which months they are working on it. Nebraska Service Center Received my i130 on July 2nd : )

My NOA-1 is July 2nd:) Nebraska. Long wait ahead.

well i sended everything original with I130 . WHERE I was suppose to send photocopy of original n take original at interview .... what should i do now ?

for nvc do i have to send exact same copies which i sended to uscis? if i make originals again and it has different print n notarized date then the 1 i sended . will that be a issue ?

I am not 100% sure. But I do know never send in originals just photo copies. As long as the information is the same it shouldn't matter I wouldn't think about the date signed or notary.

Hi. I've been waiting and waiting for our NOA1. So many from July have it already, so I decided to check and see if my check has been cashed. It hasn't. :-(

We filed July 20. Is it normal that our check hasn't even been cashed yet? When am I officially allowed to start worrying?

I would definitely call because we got our NOA 1 9 days after sending I-130.

You need to call them and see if it has been received. Your check should have been cashed within a week or so.

Has Nebraska just stopped??? I swear it can't get any slower! I thought TSC was bad....Nebraska seems to be the same. The wait is the worst and the sad part it just started. A month in and counting (haha)

On this link http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/F1en.pdf you can find a 1-800 to call if you mailed your application more than 10 days ago and have not received a receipt yet.

I called after 2 weeks and after a few questions they gave me my receipt numbers.

Hope you can talk to someone who can give you some answers!

Hi I'am petitioning for my husband and I sent the I-130 in December 2014 and in January 12 2015 I received the receipt how long do I have to wait for it to get approved

Hello All,

I Applied for I-130 for my wife.I applied as a green card holder but now i am a US citizen so have put in service request to upgrade my petition.

Below is my timeline:

• NOA 1 -06/17/2015 (California Service Center)
  
• Service Request to upgrade Petition- 07/28/2015 (I mailed copy of my naturalization certificate as well on the same day which was received on 07/31/2015).
  

Service request has not been approved yet but i do see that they have a officer assigned to work on the request.

When should i be expecting NOA 2?

Sent our I-130 on July 30th, Fed Ex delivered July 31st. Guess that makes us July Filers!

Patiently waiting for our NOA1.
