How long nvc take to assign case number after approval ?

It's been 13 days nvc received my file... No case no.

It was 15 days for me. They assigned the case number yesterday but found out today.

File I-130: June 29, 2015

USCIS PD: June 30, 2015

NOA 1: July 2, 2015 (Nebraska)

NOA 2: December 10, 2015 (161 days)

NOA 2- Hard copy: December 16, 2015

Case Sent to NVC: December 17, 2015

NVC:

Case received: December 21, 2015

Case and IIN#: January 5, 2016

Choice of Agent -DS-261: January 6, 2016

AOS Fee Invoiced: January 6, 2016

AOS Fee Paid: January 6, 2016

IV Fee Invoiced: January 7, 2016

IV Fee Paid: January 19, 2016

DS-260 Completed: January 19, 2016

Sent AOS & IV Packets: January 28, 2016

Scan Date: January 29, 2016

Case Complete: March 2, 2016

Interview Scheduled & Letter Received: May 25, 2016

Interview Date: July 18, 2016

I just received an update from USPS and it said that my application will be delivered on Monday, which is a 13th. At least it is not a Friday and I hope that number 13 on a Monday will be a blessing (

Hopefully I will get my case number and invoice number today as well. After this stage of getting those two numbers, the $88 fee is next correct? If that's even the current amount. Or do we wait for the physical letter?

I just called again. They keep telling me they don't have my case to allow 35 days. Approval notice date on the letter says Dec. 3rd. I would think by now, they would have something. :clock::clock::clock:

THEY R TELLING U UR CASE STILL AVE NOT REACHED NVC?

Yes. And I have not been able to get anyone to tell me if the case has physically been received. I even called USCIS and the number on my approval letter for the Potomac center...nothing...they just keep telling me to wait...I will try again tomorrow to call NVC

Congrats guys.

I'm on the same boat. I call everyday nvc keep telling me they never received my case. I think potomac is way too slow to send files to nvc. I just hope they get it asap. Can't wait anymore. My approval was dec 11th from potomac. .

Happy new year Jessie. I hope they get my case soon now. And I pray for you to get your case number. I will be going to india in feb hope to send my package by then.
