Had my interview, everything was good except they want a joint sponsor since my USC husband's earnings have all been in Canada for the past several years.

I came back with my passport since we're travelling in 10 days but once we return I will send that paperwork back along with the passport and it should be issued pretty quickly, according to the CO.

He actually was really nice about it. If my travel had been scheduled just a few days later, he said I could have left the passport, sent the documents and authorized a FedEx overnight to get it back to me before I left, but it was just a couple days too soon.

I just received an update from USPS and it said that my application will be delivered on Monday, which is a 13th. At least it is not a Friday and I hope that number 13 on a Monday will be a blessing (

Hi Bichou13, Nebraska people seem to be on about a 5-month timeline, give or take. So not too much longer, hopefully :)

I called and spoke with a tier 2 rep just now. She didn't have any more information than the first girl. She said they haven't begun processing my application yet as they're still processing petitions from June 2nd! I asked if she could tell me if my petition is sitting with an adjudicator and she just repeated herself saying they are processing petitions from June 2nd. Yet, I know they have processed July petitions before and after my PD. This waiting is frustrating.

The holidays make being away from my husband even harder.

You will have your approval soon. They have a script they follow so no worries. Yours is coming very soon.

My case was approved today December 21. NOA 1 date is July 29. Merry Christmas everyone.

can i call uscis to find out whts going on with my case ? can they help ? who do i talk to ? my date is 7 2 15 .

I was going to ask if you called them yet. I called yesterday and spoke with a tier 2 person and had no luck, but may be you'll get a better answer. I'm tempted to call them again and make sure they didn't misplace or lose my petition altogether!

Call the 800 number, give them your receipt number and then press the option to speak with someone about your case. ask to speak with a Tier 2 Rep. the Tier 2 rep will ask for your Receipt number, ask you if you're the petitioner/beneficiary/attorney or employer, ask you for the beneficiary's full name and DOB. Then tell them your PD and how you haven't heard anything. Let me know what they tell you. The lady that i spoke with kept telling me that they are working on June 2nd petitions and i would need to wait another 45 days to 2 months before they start working on mine. :(
