Thanks for the support. I called...didn't ask to speak with a tier 2 person but the customer service lady was very kind and just said my case is still pending. not what I wanted to hear but.....what to do.... :cry:

LinJoe, is ok. the day and the week is not over yet. It is going to be a Christmas present for you.

Awww, thank you so very much Kirankaur2997. So how do I obtain Police Clearance Certificate? how many years of tax returns do i need?

From your spouse local police station. Last year tax return is required but we can attach upto 3 yrs

In Ghana you have to go to the Police Headquarters and get your police records. You will have to pay a little of course but then go back 4-5 days later and pick it up. If you have any more questions just send me a message. I have been down this road with the K-1...hahaha

My PD is 7/14 and was transferred to Potomac from Nebraska on 10/15.

Just called USCIS and talked to a tier-2 officer. He said my case hasn't been 42 days beyond normal processing time. I asked him how this 42 days is calculated. He just told me to wait 42 days before filing a request and then hung up the phone. I called again to talk to a tier-1 rep. He told me Nebraska center only has processed up to 6/2 so far. It will take another 42 days to reach 7/14. He said he doesn't have processing time info of Potomac center. Does this mean I should patiently wait for another 42 days?

We got approved!! Wasn't expecting any less with God! :) I called USCIS on 16th and got approved on 17th. Not sure if that helped but I hope every other July filer gets approved soon. Happy Holidays!!!!

Congratulations! that didn't work for me. I called them yesterday and no approval for me. maybe next week will be my week. good luck on the next phase!
