I hope so. i'm sure you'll get an update soon. Have you signed up for text/email notifications from the myuscis.com website? I have yet I still login everyday to check if they've even touched it.......and it still shows July date.

Yes I have signed up for notifications but I only received july notification, after that nothing. I check website everyday as well. Good luck to us. Hopefully this is our week.

I just received an update from USPS and it said that my application will be delivered on Monday, which is a 13th. At least it is not a Friday and I hope that number 13 on a Monday will be a blessing (

Hey guys, i know we are all waiting to hear the updates. So here is another one. Just received the approval notice today about an hour ago in the mail. The online status has not updated yet though.

My priority date - July 16

Approval date - Dec 10

Good luck to all of you guys, hope your status are also updated soon. Hang in there.

Lets see what happens next.

Tom, I am not understanding.....are you saying we should wait 45 days to call NVC?....is choice of agent made 7 days after NOA2?

Well, the person at NVC said that 45 days was the average before a case number was assigned. I plan on calling earlier than that, hoping that our case might be processed faster than 'average', but I wanted to share that info with everyone here so that people could have a realistic expectation of when their case number may be assigned, and to not worry if it does take that long.

The choice of agent can be made as soon as the case number is assigned by NVC. It can be made in one of two ways:

If you call NVC and make your choice of agent over the phone with a live person, it should be processed by NVC within 7 days

If you submit your choice of agent by sending in the written form, it could take up to 30 days for it to be processed by NVC.

Did you get transferred to Potamic at all or did you stay at NSC the whole time? my PD is also July 16th!
