I thought I would call USCIS just to see if by chance I could speak with a tier 2 officer...the rep said of course you can't. I honestly almost laughed. This was my first call since I started the process, I will wait because I know I will get no answer from them, sad but so true

sounding board moment........ I miss my husband all the time, but missing him badly comes in waves for me. mainly because I have so much to keep my mind distracted; yet, today.......today is a horrible day. As my husband would say, "God bless the US Immigration System!"

I see so many people waiting passed their 5 months for any kind of update. I'm praying so hard for an approval. I check the myuscis.com site far too often and it's depressing to see the date still sitting at July as the last time they touched it. June approvals seem to have happened so fast...why is July taking forever?!?!? This is like watching paint dry, or watching the grass grow. :crying:

Being away from your newlywed spouse is terribly difficult. I can't wait for this whole process to be over and we can finally look back and say, "wow...we made it!"

Thank you for listening/reading.

I feel your pain. I'm on the same boat. I get stressed out so often. I am a july filer pd is July 14th. I got into a car accident on sep 27th ever since then I'm home going to doctors every other day. I wish I could be with my love. Can't even visit him, not getting clearnce notice from doctors. I pray to God for all of us. trying to be strong and positive. It will happen soon.

This site is great for all of us. We all are going through the same thing and we are here to listen and chat. When my husband face-timed me this afternoon and again this evening I could have cried...missing him so much. All of us July filers we will have our approvals soon. That is what I keep telling myself and my husband...any day now baby! He is so patient. It's hard waiting for over 5 months and can't even get any updates on our case. However, tomorrow is another day, we just have to stay strong and lean on each other!!

Gee! they don't have to be rude about it.

No they don't. Until they have been through this process they have no idea what it's like to be without the one you love.

They probably don't have it. Are at nebraska or transferred to potomac?

We're at Nebraska, no transfer. We had submitted all the documents with the help of an attorney. I wonder if the USCIS misplacing documents is a common occurence.

For everyone hanging in there (especially those at Nebraska), stay strong, you will here from USCIS soon. Our PD is July 1 and we received an RFE on December 1 which means that as we type this, July files are being processed and you should hear something soon!
