Do the math, it is taking NSC 5 months and 10 days to adjudicate the average I 130.so if you are at 5 months just wait an extra 10 working days and you should see a change in your case.

If you got transferred to Potomac from Nebraska, its very good news for you!!! The center opened around Septemeber 2015; it's a totally new service center! .. my I-130 got appoved in approx 4 months, when I was expecting 6 months. I filed July 8th 2015. It is only the case if there was nothing wrong with your petition and you followed all instructions.

My friend filed June 15th 2015, and he got approved at Nebraska few days after me.

Hope this information helps, good luck to everyone!!!

I'm worried about this update, Case was received at my local office.

my pd 08/31/2015

case trasnfered from texas to potomac in 11/10/2015

update Case was received at my local office in Dec 2

don't know what the update means, is it good news or bad news.

been 4 days now since the update

Crossing my fingers that I will hear good news by next week...."case received at local office" after my case being transferred to Potomac Service Center is giving me anxiety.

did you get the same update, Case was received at my local office?

Hello Everyone!

Just an update from The Coombs, we married in Jamaica so we filed an I-130.

07.11.15 - Filed

07.17.15 - NOA1

10.16.15 - Notice of Transfer from NSC to PSC

12.02.15 - Notice Local office has received

Seeing that some people are receiving the same "Received at local office" notice it is leading me to think that the new service center (Potomac) is starting to implement their email/text notification system. As I recall before the first couples getting approved were not hearing anything via email or text and solely receiving mail notification.

Continued prayers for everyone as well as ourselves to hear something soon along with congratulations to those that have been and continue to be approved!!
