Hi July filers!

My case was transferred to Potomac center October 16th.

I was out of the city for a week, but I always checked myUSCIS and there was no update. I came home today and found NOA2 in the mail. My petition has been approved. Receipt Date 07/10/15 Notice Date 11/9/15.

I hope everybody who got transferred to Potomac will get their approval soon !!!

PS. Checked myUSCIS today, last update was 10/16/15

I noticed this morning that the processing times for the 4 initial service centers have been updated on the USCIS site but the Potomac center hasn't been added to it. I tried calling USCIS again today and they still have no information on the Potomac center to be able to contact them for updated information.

I was just looking at the June forum and the processing times, June 22nd petitioner got approved yesterday!! Our time is slowly coming!!!

Morning everyone!

I just got off the phone with the national USCIS customer care line. I'm worried because I put in a change of address request on the 29th of october that hasn't been processed yet and of course I'm still waiting for my NOA2 from the Potomac centre (originally at Nebraska PD 7/6/15). What happens if potomac approves my petition but and mails the NOA2 to my old address? I'll have to go check the USPS site to see how long a forward lasts.

I just want my husband here. Our kids want their Daddy here. Holiday time is coming and the depression is starting to fight me hard. I'm keeping my chin up though, for the kids and hubby.

On the upside, I was in South Africa with him for 8 years with my residency in process at their home affairs for 7 of those 8 and absolutely NOTHING happened other than they took our money. So, guess I can't complain about 5 or 6 months, or even a year if it takes that long.

I just checked the timeline....NSC is on a roll!! Hang in there July filers we are all so close to approval time!! Very excited.
