I just received an update from USPS and it said that my application will be delivered on Monday, which is a 13th. At least it is not a Friday and I hope that number 13 on a Monday will be a blessing (

From my understanding, if your case is transferred it still keeps the original PD, so it would just add the transfer time but not add another 5 months. you wouldn't start all over again waiting another 5 months.

N-400/Citizenship process:

Applied online: 9/06/2020

NOA1 received: 9/07/2020

Biometric: reuse letter received 1/19/2021

Interview: 5/12/2021 - APPROVED!!! 😃

Oath Ceremony: 6/04/2021

Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction
On October 15, 2015, your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number LIN, was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by November 14, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I just got the same message: On October 16, 2015, your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number LIN**********, was transferred to another USCIS office. Were you at Nebraska?

March 11th 2015: We got married! (L)

July 15th 2015: I-130 petition sent to Chicago filing center

July 17th 2015: NOA1, petition forwarded to Nebraska

July 21st 2015: NOA1 Hard copy received

January 5th 2016: Petition approved!

January 14 2016: NOA2 hardcopy received

January 14th 2016: Case sent to Dept. of State

February 2nd 2016 : received NVC welcome letter along with case and invoice number

May 11, 2016: DS-261 completed and AOS fee paid

May 19th 2016: Immigrant visa fee paid

July 6th 2016: DS-260 completed

July 8th 2016: Our AOS package was received

August 13th 2016: AOS package review complete and visa interview scheduled for Sept 27th 2016!!!

September 21st 2016: Hubbys medical exam

Just paid my IV fee, so we're going to send our emails with AOS and IV documents this weekend.

Feels like things are finally moving!

Hello everyone! Another July filer here.

I'm the USC, he's in South Africa (never been out of the country). I lived there with him married for 8 years. 2 kids now dual citizenship are here with me. First NOA receipt date is July 9th.

The first activity I've seen was the same notice that my case was transfered from the Nebraska Center, received an email and SMS on Oct 15th. Hopefully the hardcopy will be in my mailbox on Monday.

This wait is driving me NUTS!

Congrats to all of you who have moved forward!

I received the same notice on Oct 15th but never received any email or message. Did they mention where your case was transferred to?

I'm at Nebraska and alot of us have really close pd's and I haven't been transferred...I wonder if this is a good thing or a bad thing...

I wonder if your cases were transferred to CSC because Nebraska was backlogged or something. If so, CSC is so much faster and maybe you can expect to get an approval quicker? I'm also at NSC and haven't heard anything about a transfer or otherwise. I've checked USCIS website and my case hasn't been "touched" since they received it in July. :crying:

Maybe your cases being transferred will help get other cases looked at quicker at NSC. (A girl can dream)

Just got my MNL case #. NOA2 was September 18, NVC received on October 5, and have been calling almost everyday since then. It was assigned just today, two weeks after NVC received.

Filled out the DS-261 and will pay the AOS fee once they stop working on my case and the error message is gone. Yay for being able to make progress again!
