I'm hoping it happened for a good reason. I want to know the center but will have to wait for a mail.

Well there's a delay at Nebraska, maybe that's why.

Hello fellow July filers!

I asked my Immigration attorney from my work about those timelines that are shown on the USCIS and he mentioned the processing time listed on their site is never accurate. He said don't lose hope or get upset by that. Each agent at the processing center has their workload and some are ahead and some are behind. Since we don't know exactly who is processing our specific file, we don't know if April 2nd is truly accurate making us wait another 3 months for approval. Stay positive! (That's what I keep telling myself). I've been married for almost 4 months and have only spent 21 days with my husband. The waiting totally sucks!

However, we made it this long. We're halfway through our waiting time. We can do this!!!

Has anyone called NSC recently to see what they are telling people over the phone regarding the processing time?

Wow I'm glad to hear that. I've literally been counting down the days and then to have another 30 added was a real blow haha. Also its good to see someone who's in a similar situation as me! I was only with my husband for 5 months before I came back here to apply for him. I was a bit worried that would affect my case. We've been married for 8 months (: .

I called USCIS customer service, she said it is normal practice to transfer the case over to another center. Nebraska is backlogged. But she didn't tell me where my case I sent over to. Have to wait for hard copy.

I've been counting as well! :) It's been 92 days since they received my petition and at least another 60 before approval...that would make it 5 months exact. I'm praying it's much sooner than that though. However, if 5 months is accurate then within the next 2 months I'm hoping to hear the good news of approval. I already have my financial documents in order and my husband has collected all of his documents that will need to be submitted. We're hoping we can save time and everything go smooth by having everything ready to submit when it's time.

Good luck!
