Hi guys, my wife in the States just received an email from CSC requesting an RFE (additional evidence). In our I-130 we included copies of all documents like " marriage certificates, birth certificates, photo albums, divorce certificates of her previous marriage, passport photo copies for both of us and so on". What additional evidence could they be asking for. Any clues?

I am guessing that the hard copy they mail will say what they want. I've heard of people getting RFE's for not signing forms, so it may not necessarily mean that they need more evidence?

I wonder why these petitions take 5 months to process. I mean obviously they don't take 5 months to get to a petition, since they ask for RFE's and such well before the 5 month mark. Anyone know why they ask for RFE's? Im a bit worried we'll receive one because I didn't include any correspondence proof, like emails and texts between the hubby and I.

You have 30 days to respond back so calect evidence and affidavits for bona field marriage relationship

Yes we included affidavits in our petition. Maybe what we should have included where plane tickets from when she came to visit me and mine when I went to visit her before filling our petition. Not too sure, I cannot wait to hear what they are requesting.

Hello all! Figured I would stop stalking the thread and post..I too am a July filed...rec'd hard copy of NOA1 on 8/4 but text from USCIS on 7/30 with a priority date of 7/28 - CR1 petition. Getting a little ? stressed and probably depressed (lol)...didn't think it would be this hard or long. Case is being adjudicated at CSC which appears to be slowing down a little (just my luck). Concerned that maybe I missed something in documentation submission.
