Today marks 2 months since Nebraska received my i130 for my spouse. I still wish my packet was sent to California instead. Congrats to all who got approved already.

That would be amazing but for some reason I think we're going to be waiting almost the whole 5 months ):

I called them today and they told me the current processing time was 5 months.

I feel the same. For some countries it takes exactly 5 months. They wouldn't tell you anything other than 5 months processing time.

Hi there, my wife lives in North Carolina and I in South Africa and filled the I-130 on July 20th and it was sent to California, received NOA1 hard copy on July 28th. How much longer could we expect to wait to hear anything of the NOA2?

According to the USCIS processing times web page, California is taking 5 months to process I-130 petitions. So about 5 months (could be a little shorter, or a little longer) after your priority date. (:

The wait is frustrating. Nebraska is slow but approving more now than a week or so ago. I have been apart from my husband almost 2 years. We filed K-1 denied and that was a 11 month process. Filed I-130 NOA1-July 2nd. So we are just going with the flow. I visit him as often as possible and that helps with the separation. Good luck to everyone.

Ya they seems to balance the average time of 5-6 months for the complete process i guess.

My case for Immediate relatives was approved from Nebraska for just 1 month and NVC received my case on September 3 but i haven't heard anything from them till now. For me Nebraska was fast but NVC seems to be slow, for you it might be just opposite so hang in there. You will get good news soon.

Just updating: got my NOA2 (electronic) after 48 days at CSC, and then it took 21 days for NVC to receive it. The status on MyUSCIS still has not changed from the NOA2 notice (some people's change to say "we sent to NVC on X date" apparently, but mine didn't).

Good luck for all of you July filers still waiting. Hope you get good news soon!

I called every 2 or 3 days, starting about 10 days after the NOA2.

It's so frustrating, because they say "please read paragraph 2 from your letter," that says up to 30 days or 35 or whatever it is, but you *know* from here that there are people whose file was received in 10 days or whatever! but anyway.

Some of the reps are very nice it must be hard to give people bad news so often.

Now I'm trying to wait until it's been 1 week before I start calling again for my case number since it seems to be taking around 2 weeks in most cases.
