Hi all I'm gathering my AOS packet

I have Employment letter + recent pay stubs + 2015 tax done ( yay) !!! :dancing:

how ever is the bank letter needed also as proof? and what should it say, ( do they also want to see what you have in savings) ???

Thanks for the help!!!

You don't need a bank letter for your AOS packet.

That's it! now you get to wait on NVC, but you can call them and talk to them, which is nice.

You should go to the current NVC thread where everyone talks about what's going on there. Today is Presidents' Day so there won't be any action at NVC, though.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone found out processing times for Potomac Service Centre? We've been transferred there and trying to figure it out?

It's not listed with the other service centres on the processing time page?

Thanks!

i just received noa2 in mail from uscis ?

will i receive anything else from them or thats it ?

Come over to the FEB 2016 NVC thread. You will learn a lot on what you need to do next. Plus go and read the NVC Process, that is a big help.

You will not get anything else from USCIS. The should send you a notification that your case has been sent to the Dept of State.

Good luck!!!

If you received text and/or email notifications whenever an update was made to your petition then you'll receive another one saying your petition has been sent to the Department of State. Then give it about a week and start calling NVC to confirm they received your case. Once they confirm they received it, then give it another week and start calling asking about your case and IIN.

NVC process will go as quickly as you want it to. Meaning, if you have your paperwork ready to go and are proactive, it is possible to get through NVC within 2 months.

Hello, all.

I have been reading this thread for a few weeks now. Thanks for all the information you have shared and congratulations to those who have had their petitions approved.

It has been just over 7 months since out petition was received by USCIS, so I called the Customer Service Center. I have not yet spoken with a Tier 2 representative (I will ask to do that next time I call), but the rep who answered my call said that she will put in a request for more information that will take up to 2-3 weeks for me to receive.

When I speak with a tier 2 rep, what should I ask? I will mention that it has been more than 7 months. Anything else? Will tier 2 be able to give more information, and quicker, than the request that was just put in?

Congrats to everyone who has moved on to the NVC process! Way to go!!

I'm still stuck in a holding pattern. After speaking to a tier 2 a few times they confirmed that they received the documents requested on thr RFE I received. I got the RFE on Dec 10th. They received my documents on Dec 29th. I've heard nothing since. No updates. Just to make matters more fun, when I recieved the notification stating that they have in fact received my RFE documentation, that notification specifically states that they can give me no time frame on when my petition will be completed.

It's been 7 months now and there is no time frame for us to reference. I don't have a "60 day" mark that I can call after.

Are there even any July filers still waiting?

I'm also still waiting...

PD July 16. Transferred to Potomac Oct 16

From what I'm counting, there are four of us left from July? I might have missed someone. Nothing new to report here. I've spoken to a tier 2 again. They can tell me absolutely nothing and again pointed out the fact that my latest notice says "no time frame". I"m sorry I haven't been on the site much and haven't posted much. Although I'm extremely happy for all of you who have been approved and are into the NVC process it is excessively disheartening for me. I feel like I've been shoved in a corner and forgotten. My husband is having a really hard time on his side. At least I have our kids and my family for support. He's alone over there. It's just not fair that there is nothing we can do.

Sincere Congrats to all of you who have and are still progressing! :dancing:
