Yes so true. I hope it will be easier with nvc. I'm still waiting to get my case at nvc it's been over month now since I was approved. Potomac sucks

181 days after they received my petition......I'M APPROVED! I'M APPROVED! I'M APPROOOOOOOOVED!!!!!!!!!! I got the text about 30 minutes ago that my case was updated. I logged in and there it was the magical words!!! my case was approved!!!! wooohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I immediately called my husband he was just as excited! I literally closed the door to my office and was jumping around in excitement!! hopefully, the next steps won't take so long!

NVC here I come!!!!

Called USCIS today and I was able to speak with a tier 2 rep. My case was shipped from Potomac to NVC Jan 8th. NVC has not received it yet but I feel more at ease knowing that it was shipped.

Thank god. Finally potomac is touching our files. Hopefully they shipped my file too.

Greetings from Ghana, Africa. Missing my Visa Journey family. I miss you all. NVC haven't gotten my approved petition yet from Potomac Center. I called my Senator office to enquire about my package. I don't even know why they are keeping it in their. Congrats to all those who got approved.

Thank you everyone! I just got an email saying Uscis sent my case to nvc. Does that mean its there now or the 25-30 day wait begins now?

March 11th 2015: We got married! (L)

July 15th 2015: I-130 petition sent to Chicago filing center

July 17th 2015: NOA1, petition forwarded to Nebraska

July 21st 2015: NOA1 Hard copy received

January 5th 2016: Petition approved!

January 14 2016: NOA2 hardcopy received

January 14th 2016: Case sent to Dept. of State

February 2nd 2016 : received NVC welcome letter along with case and invoice number

May 11, 2016: DS-261 completed and AOS fee paid

May 19th 2016: Immigrant visa fee paid

July 6th 2016: DS-260 completed

July 8th 2016: Our AOS package was received

August 13th 2016: AOS package review complete and visa interview scheduled for Sept 27th 2016!!!

YES! My priority date is July 15 and still waiting. I actually just called, asked for tier 2, and he said on January 12, my case switched adjudicators so hopefully it is in review! But honestly, he didn't sound completely sure whether it was actually being looked at or not...
