Hi everyone! I'm new here!

I'm petitioning for my husband and his priority date is July 15, 2015. It first went to Texas SC, then transferred to the new one in Potomac. Since it's been nearly 6 months, I tried calling, but after I enter in the receipt number, I only get an automated message that I have to wait another 180 days after the transfer before inquiring about the case. Then, no option to speak to a representative unless there's a problem.

Is there a way I can speak to a physical person or do I really must wait another 180 days before inquiring? Thank you!

Timeline:

2014/11/17 Married in USA to husband from Hong Kong
2015/07/15 Priority date
2015/07/17 NOA-1 received
2015/11/12 Case transferred to office (from TSC to Potomac SC)

....still waiting

it wouldn't hurt to get it notarized it gives the letter more validity, but you want to make sure you get your letter to them promptly.

I called USCIS again just now for an update and they gave same repetitive answer. I have to wait until 1-2 months for them to work on my case.:cry:  :cry:

This time when I said petitions with PD's end of July and August are getting approved, he said it goes by case by case. so when is my case even going to be looked at?!!!
