First Congrats: Follow the instruction that the CO provided and since last week was one of the biggest Holiday of the year add on 2-3 days of processing time just stay close to your cell or continue to call DHL for status. A56

hello Everyone.

first , I have been busy with lots of personal things like getting married .

Mom Interview was on Nov. 16. Everything went ok. actually she was hardly asked any Question.

but towards the end, They have recommended DNA testing to prove the relationship. 50% happy that everything went ok, 50% concerned that the DNA delay the process bit longer. never the less, this week am heading to DNA lab here in my city to get the process going.

Question : how long does it usually if there is DNA condition to process?

does that mean mom doesnt have to go through anything else?

hello Everyone.

very strange its not part of the requirements to bring to the interview anyways. I read a lot of times DNA test is requested at interview they just should put that in the requirements for certain visas. and yea once you get the test done all she does is hand it in by whichever way they told her and then wait for issued visa , and sorry don't know how long dna testing take but im sure if you google it you can find out quickly. congrats anyhow!

hopefully I hear and others hear good news this month they started scheduling for January interviews, heard nothing for Ethiopia yet but im sure our emails will come on the 14th! 10 day count down :joy:

hey question or anyone that did their medical what doctor did you call? my husband is trying to call the ones listed but said its always busy or not working. he was just going to head up there next week and walk in to set up an appointment but not sure if that's ok or not. but just wondering if anyone can give me the phone number and name so we can get it out the way.

Their phone numbers don't work better to go their office. That's what honey did.

I think they accept all walk in. At first visit they do x-ray plus blood exams. Immunization and physical exam usually after 2 weeks.

oh I just started a new thread lol! .. ok awesome he is heading up there Monday so ill have him just walk in. thanks for telling me about the 2 weeks thing so now I really want him to do it quickly to get everything we need to the embassy. thanks!
