HOW LONG FOR "ISSUED" VISA

My husband has his interview on July 15th in Juarez. He plans on staying there and picking uo his visa then just coming straight over into El Paso.

Question:

How long after interview should he be able to pick up visa in Juarez. I think I saw on another thread that someone has been waiting a few weeks for their visa?? :(

I am not sure about Mexico, but my wife got her visa 5 Days in the Philippines after the interview. I hope your husband get his visa quick too

My husband had his interview in Ciudad Juarez on June 16, 2015 which was approved. His status just changed today, July 6, 2015 to "issued". It says his visa was mailed to the DHL for him to pick up. He has been in Ciudad Juarez for 3 weeks and is still waiting. We are hoping it will be ready with a couple more days.

oh my goodness... has he been staying at a hotel this whole time?

I dont know what would happen if he had to wait in Juarez for 3 weeks! :hehe:

I got my visa in hand 3 business days after I was approved and I live in Saltillo, Mexico:

I had my interview on June 25 (Thursday). Visa was approved. They issued it on next Monday and I got it on Wednesday in Saltillo, Coahuila DHL and that because it stayed all day on Tuesday in DHL Juarez.

The US government had problems issuing visas in all over the world, but the system started working on June 23 in Juarez. So hopefully your husband gets the visa in 2 days as many people wrote in their reviews about Juarez (before the incident).

In case your husband crossed the border illegally in the past, did he get the I-601 approved while in USA? I met a lady who got it approved in USA and had no problems in Juarez. On the other hand, I read a story in the Juarez reviews here in VJ about someone's husband getting visa denied as they didn't apply for the pardon before interview. Hopefully your husband does not need it.
