Hi, guys

i waswondering when you guys did the declaration of how you met in person in the last two years. and the declaration intent to marry within 90 days of entering the US , did you guys take the same example shown onthis website or did you guys handwrote it or typed it? which form will be better?

cool. another thing, does it have to be in english or in their native language, and can you use the same copy for both me and him. as well as, the letter of how we met has to be 2 differnt ones, like his storry or mines or can we just type it up ad both sign it, i dont know ive herd many stories, thats why im asking

It is recommended you have a signed letter from both you and the beneficiary (fiance). Everything should be in English, so have them translated if need be or just write both in English. That is what I did... though I just sent all my stuff in, so that might not be as much help. But do for sure have two letters of intent, each one signed by whoever wrote it. Hope that helps some, if not keep asking the questions or someone else will surely give you their advice.

I mean, can i use the same letter featured here twice once for him and one for me, just with his signature and mines,( letter on intent ) and the letter of how u met, does it have to be typed or handwritten? and can i just write it for him and send it in an email so he can print sign and send it to me ? i mean we both know how we met, or should i write it different for him and different for me?

the example provided by visajourney was fine. I submitted a letter of intent with my name/address/signature and my fiance did the same. so we submitted 2 letters of intent, same wording, pretty much , dated and signed. We did not have them notarized however some people did have them notarized. when my fiance had his interview Feb, i also sent to him an "updated letter of intent" in which i still supported the k-1 process, etc etc for him to bring to the embassy just in case. good luck!

oh yeah we typed the letters, i think it looks more professional. also, the declaration of how we met question on the k1 i just gave a simple answer, did not have to write novel ! LOL! I just said we met thru family friends in June 2005,then we started corresponding, calling, email, talking everyday. Met in person in May 2006 in Marikina CIty, Philippines(my fiance's hometown).Just a simple answer in my case was acceptable. i dont think you really need to go crazy. I think the dates probably they will look at and "how " you met......

Signed original letterS of intent are fine in form letter format. Letter of how you met each other, if including, should be in your own words. The beneficiary will just need a copy for the interview.
