Supposedly all interview appointment letters sent out after Jan 3rd have had the name check completed. The idea is supposed to be that nobody has an interview until their namecheck has clear from now on. Hopefully you're in the clear.

well i do recall people still going to the interview and having name check not completed after new years.. but maybe their interview notices were issued before that, i don't know. either way, i really think it will go ok in my case, because my name is VERY unusual, and i doubt there is anyone with something similar in the database

congrats and good luck! Yes, they should now send out the interview notices AFTER checks are cleared. In our case, they sent the letter and then a week later sent a cancellation notice. this has happened to a few people around that time. lately though i think things are going well...

Yeah, the rule as I heard is that this is only true for interview notices issued after Jan 3rd. Most people with interviews in January and February will have had their interview notice sent out before then.

Hey, I got my interview notice after Jan. 3rd, for my interview on 2/26. So, I guess the only way I'll find out if this is the case, is after my interview.
