Hey! everybody is getting their visas, I'm getting all excited about mine!!!

I just need to vent a little though, because I can't believe the silliest troubles I'm finding :( ... We have pretty much everything ready for the interview on Dec 23, after tons of problems, and now I have to deal with the medical which has turned out to be an unexpected bump on the road. Here in Chile there's now only 1 doctor available for the medicals and he has a secretary from hell. I called last month and she -not nicely- informed me that I wasn't allowed to book an appointment until we were actually in the month of the interview (and better yet if I called 8 days before it). So I called last monday and she told me I should go on the 14th and then spent the whole call berating me for not knowing the "things that are on the papers from the embassy" (they weren't, I checked 1000 times) and then she hung up on me before saying what time I should go and ask for my name or anything.

I called immediately after that and she never picked up. I called a bunch of times again, never picked up. Tuesday was a holiday and today I called literally 71 times and nothing! So tomorrow I'll have to take time off work to go in person to find out what's going on :(... I didn't think THIS would be an issue, out of everything we had to do.

Hang in there bud.... Just dont loose steam. GO in person if you have to and tell her to show you what the hell she is talking about. Good luck
