We are so happy! :) Our visa has been approved today! We still can't believe it! It is like a dream! Thanks to all of you for your support during this stressful process! :) And Good luck to all who are still waiting!

Hey just FYI, the consulate switched from Loomis to Canada Post for delivery. Check the usvisa-info site ASAP and see if there is a more convenient location for you :) Also I hear that home delivery is only $20 now.

Unfortunately, they made the switch AFTER our interview (actually the same day it changed to Issued), so we didn't have an option to switch. But we did get the tracking number, and it says it will be delivered to the Post Office today!

I just saw that Monteal has changed the courier to CPC not instead of Loomis. Just wondering if anyone knew if this was affecting timeframes of visas?

Regarding the Loomis to Canada Post transition at the Montreal consulate, I actually clued in to the switch at my interview as there were signs posted around the consulate saying that the change was effective as of Dec 1. When I got home i checked is visa info website and they had changed my pick up location from a Loomis spot in Lachine to a Canada Post office on Bridge st. The change is automatic, so they will switch your location to the one closest to the Loomis location you had originally selected. At leas that's how I read it! Glad to hear that people are receiving their passports back pretty quickly too!
