Confirmed Franzy! Got my electronic NOA1 notification today and it's been sent to CSC. I believe all of the applications are sent to CSC due to the backlog from TSC since last few months ago. I'm excited too! I'm hoping to get her here by November, this year!. Good luck to you!

I admit I started to get worried for a sec

The Dallas location received my application on Friday, July 24. I received an email/text (NOA1) July 28 stating our case is forwarded to the California Service Center. Just waiting on the NOA1 hardcopy by mail. Fingers crossed on the NOA2 to follow soon.

Good Luck to everyone. :)

Well, holy freaking #######! I sent our packet on July 3rd. Our NOA1 is dated July 14th, and we were informed we were being routed to California. I just received e-notice an hour ago that our application has been approved (i.e., our NOA2). So, 15 days from official receipt to approval.

I don't know what they're putting in the drinking water at USCIS these days, but I approve.

P.S Judging by the speed that CSC are processing cases I don't think getting an RFE for meeting online will be a big deal, it may add an extra week or two to your processing time but this process is usually measured in months not weeks!!

Another data point - Aya and I met on Japan-guide.com, and we were very clear about this in our filing. It took about 15 days for them to approve us. So meeting online by itself doesn't seem to raise a red flag.

I am so excited for everyone. I met my fiancée online to. In fact it was on Second Life, some people consider it a game. We were friends first so we knew everything about each other. That friendship grew into something very special to us. I know others in Second Life that got married and went thru the same process. Honestly I do not think meeting online makes a difference as long as you can prove your relationship, that you are seriously committed to one another and want to spend your life with them. My fiancée is planning to come for Christmas. We are hoping when he does arrive he doesn't have to go back to the UK. I miss him terribly even though we are always in constant contact. I pray for everyone to have your visa approved. Huggies.

Hi everyone, glad i found this page. Sent off our package July 24th and have been anxiously waiting ever since. I am the beneficiary so i won't get notification my fiance in the states will. I hope that will be fairly soon although we sent ours to Texas and i see in other posts all applications have been rerouted to CSC. Does that mean the wait will be longer? What was your time frame between sending the I-129F and getting notice of receipt?

Everyone mails the initial filing to Texas lockbox, they forward the package to the appropriate Service Center. I think most are going to the California Service center now as the Texas service center (I-129F purgatory) was so backed up. California service center seems to have a much better time between NOA1 and NOA2. I mailed my my I-129F on July 24 as well, I did not get any notifications yet but they did cash my check.
